travellers box The Movie is now live and featured at the Danish contemporary art festival, Port 2010. the film (danish with english subtitles) gives a good overview of the project and some nice insight from those involved.

a 40 minute documentary of the travellers box project will be released over the next few weeks. meanwhile, you can see a trailer of the film here and read the uk co curator's thoughts about it here.

focAR group takes the box

at long last TangentProjects has completed work with the box and the remains of liminopia are slowly being deconstructed and making their way out of the studio. it will feel strange having so much space again, after 6 months of living with this mini city in our midst. images will be up on the main site soon.

meanwhile the box is now with focAR group, who will be doing a series of performance pieces in london over the next month. we're looking forward to this and it was lovely to meet grupul when he came to collect the box.

Welcome to the Travellers Box UK blog, where you will find news on current and upcoming work with the project in the UK as well as links to other co curators' blogs and sites, and information about the artists involved.

In the coming year, the box plans to travel to Scotland, London, possibly Bristol and who knows where else...? I'll be updating as the itinerary unfolds. The box is currently with TangentProjects, who are completing their work on Liminopia, a fantasy city created from various, mostly found, objects.
